Where will it be

The proposed energypark for Peterborough has a location adjacent to Storey’s Road, Fengate. Part of the site has been allocated by Peterborough City Council for major waste treatment including waste to energy and renewable energy production. The energypark would sit behind the Centrica Power Station. To the East of the site is Flag Fen Archaeological Trust.

The development will made up of buildings similar to the large distribution buildings found throughout the city. The tallest building will contain the Plasma Units and be 20M high. The energypark will have 9 chimney stacks 35M high and around 2m in diameter. This is less than the Peterborough Power stations 60M stacks.
